Accounts Payable (AP): Review vendor invoices, verify approvals, and prepare disbursements for payment processing. Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue client invoices, track outstanding balances, and record incoming payments. Bank Reconciliation: Compare bank statements against the general ledger to identify and resolve minor discrepancies. Month-End Support: Assist senior staff in preparing workpapers, adjusting entries, and gathering documentation for closing cycles. Expense Tracking: Process employee expense reports, verify receipts, and ensure alignment with company travel policies. Document Management: Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for tax records, invoices, and financial contracts. Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline. Technical Skills: Foundational knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or basic ERP systems) and strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
