Counterparty Classification Program Financial Accounting PM (GCB 4) Lead the delivery of the Counterparty Classification Program, ensuring accurate classification and treatment of counterparties within the Financial Accounting framework. Assess and implement accounting impacts arising from counterparty classification changes, ensuring compliance with IFRS, accounting policies, and financial reporting requirements. Partner with Financial Control, Accounting Policy, and Finance Data teams to establish robust governance, controls, and data quality standards supporting financial reporting. Drive process and system enhancements to improve the integrity, consistency, and auditability of counterparty classification data used in accounting and financial statements. Manage programme governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and delivery of finance change initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes aligned with Finance objective Key Requirements: 8-14 years of counterpart classification experience primarily in Finance Accounting Solid experience in Financial Accounting, Financial Control, Accounting Change, or Finance Transformation within a banking environment. Strong understanding of IFRS, General Ledger processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls. Proven project management experience delivering complex Finance change programmes and influencing senior Finance stakeholders. .
