Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support healthcare interoperability, data integration, and Managed Care initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong Business Systems Analysis experience along with hands-on knowledge of Healthcare data, HL7/FHIR interoperability, SQL, Databricks, and data integration/ETL processes. The candidate will independently work with business stakeholders, technical teams, data engineers, QA teams, and external partners to understand requirements, analyze healthcare data, define solutions, and support successful implementations. Prior experience with HEDIS, Quality processes, and HEDIS data is a plus. Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements management end-to-end, independently driving discovery, requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and solution definition across business and IT stakeholders.Serve as a subject matter resource for healthcare interoperability and HL7 exchange standards, including:FHIRCCD / C-CDAADTHL7 messaging and healthcare data exchangePerform hands-on data analysis using SQL, Databricks, and related data tools to validate data, investigate issues, identify discrepancies, and support solution/design decisions.Analyze large healthcare datasets and perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.Work with technical and data engineering teams to understand ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, integration workflows, and data movement between systems.Document detailed business and technical requirements, including:Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM)Data specificationsData mappingsTransformation rulesBusiness rulesFunctional requirementsProcess flowsAcceptance criteriaDocument end-to-end business and system process flows related to healthcare interoperability initiatives.Support validation and QA activities by reviewing data outputs, test scenarios, test cases, SQL results, and test results to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements.Identify and troubleshoot data quality, mapping, transformation, integration, and reconciliation issues.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners with minimal supervision to gather requirements, resolve issues, drive key decisions, and support successful implementations.Communicate business solutions, process improvements, recommendations, dependencies, risks, and issues to client management on a regular basis.Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts on best practices related to requirements gathering, documentation, data analysis, process modeling, and stakeholder engagement.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Healthcare Business Analyst, or Data Business Analyst.Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.Working experience with Databricks and large datasets.Good understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation processes.Experience preparing Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) and detailed data mapping documents.Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality analysis.Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability concepts and data exchange.Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, and ADT.Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to independently communicate and work with U.S.-based client stakeholders.Healthcare / Managed Care KnowledgeWorking knowledge of one or more of the following Managed Care functions is preferred: Healthcare ServicesClaimsMember Enrollment & EligibilityQuality / HEDISRisk AdjustmentCare ManagementUtilization ManagementHealthcare InteroperabilityUnderstanding how data flows between these healthcare functions and downstream systems will be highly valuable.
