Designation Head Procurement & Supply Chain (Cleanroom & Coldroom Solutions) Job Description The Head Purchase, Procurement & Supply Chain will be responsible for building and leading the complete procurement and supply chain function of the company, covering raw materials, consumables, bought- out items, vendor network development, inventory management, stores, and logistics. The role requires a hands-on procurement leader with strong experience in cleanroom panel manufacturing, modular infrastructure, sandwich panel, cold storage, PEB, or engineering-led project businesses, with deep knowledge of steel, insulation, and cleanroom-related material markets in India. The candidate will be responsible for establishing a reliable domestic supplier network, driving cost competitiveness, ensuring on-time material availability aligned with project execution schedules, building procurement systems and SOPs, and supporting project costing and profitability. Desired Profile Key Responsibilities Build and lead the Purchase, Procurement, and Supply Chain function of the company from the ground up Develop and manage the domestic supplier network for raw materials including pre-painted (PPGI/PPGL) and galvanised (GI) steel coils, stainless steel sheets (SS 304/316), aluminium profiles and extrusions, PUF/PIR insulation chemicals (polyol, isocyanate/MDI), rockwool/mineral wool slabs, honeycomb and EPS infill materials Manage procurement of consumables including sealants (silicone/PU), gaskets, adhesives, fasteners, hardware, welding consumables, and packaging materials Manage procurement of bought-out items including cleanroom door hardware, vision panels/view glass, HEPA/ULPA filters, fan filter units (FFUs), AHU and HVAC components, coving profiles, cleanroom lighting, pressure differential gauges, interlocking systems, epoxy/PVC flooring materials, and refrigeration components Drive vendor development, evaluation, qualification, audits, and rate contracts with mills, service centres, and component manufacturers Lead price negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, alternate sourcing, and value engineering programmes Track commodity price trends (steel, chemicals, aluminium) and build procurement strategies to manage price volatility Plan project-based procurement aligned with BOQs, engineering drawings, and project execution timelines Establish inventory management, stores management, and min- max planning systems aligned with production and project schedules Coordinate logistics and material dispatches to project sites across India Coordinate with QA/QC for incoming material inspection, mill test certificates, and compliance documentation required for GMP and regulated-industry projects Implement ERP/MRP-based procurement processes, SOPs, approval workflows, and MIS reporting Manage working capital efficiency through payment terms, credit negotiation, and inventory optimisation Support project costing, estimation, and tendering teams with current market rates and material cost data Required Skills Strong negotiation and commercial acumen Deep knowledge of steel (coated coils, GI, SS) and insulation material markets in India Vendor development and supplier relationship management capability Techno-commercial understanding of manufacturing BOMs and project BOQs Project-based (engineer-to-order) procurement planning capability Inventory, stores, and logistics management capability ERP/MRP systems proficiency and data-driven decision making Cost analysis, should-costing, and value engineering skills Strong analytical, planning, and exec .
