Academic Trainer Computer Science Job Type: Full-time Work Mode: On-site / Field-based (School Visits) Experience: 1+ Year Industry: Ed Tech / Education Technology Job Responsibilities - Deliver structured and engaging training sessions for school teachers, principals, and academic coordinators in online and in-person formats. - Visit partner schools using Next Educations products (training materials, textbooks, Digital content, and digital modules) to conduct teacher enablement programs. - Train and support teachers in the effective usage, implementation, and integration of Next Educations Computer Science curriculum and digital solutions. - Demonstrate product features, digital platforms, coding tools, and classroom-ready teaching methodologies. - Facilitate onboarding and post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption of products across schools. - Conduct teacher assessments, collect feedback, and share improvement recommendations with internal teams. - Design, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, user manuals, and reference guides. - Collaborate with content, product, academic, and technology teams to continuously enhance training quality and curriculum effectiveness. - Organize and facilitate workshops, certification programs, refresher trainings, and academic events for educators. - Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and school-wise reports. - Provide ongoing academic and basic technical support to schools when required. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related discipline. - Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching, training, or academic support in Computer Science or related subjects. - Robust understanding of school-level Computer Science concepts, coding fundamentals, and digital learning tools. - Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). - Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to engage, motivate, and guide educators effectively. - Comfortable working in a field-based role and willing to travel to assigned schools. Preferred Skills - Prior experience in an EdTech organization or academic training role. - Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital classrooms. - Knowledge of basic programming languages (e.g., Python, Scratch) or emerging technologies.
