Job Summary The Plant HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations at the manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, employee engagement, discipline, and manpower availability to support uninterrupted production. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate manpower planning with department heads. Source, screen, and schedule interviews for shop floor and staff positions. Conduct induction and onboarding programs for new employees. Maintain recruitment trackers and onboarding documentation. 2. Attendance & Leave Management Monitor daily attendance and shift-wise manpower deployment. Verify biometric attendance and resolve discrepancies. Process leave applications and maintain leave records. Coordinate with payroll for attendance inputs. 3. Employee Relations Address employee grievances and provide timely resolutions. Promote a positive work environment and maintain harmonious industrial relations. Counsel employees on discipline, attendance, and workplace behavior. Support disciplinary proceedings as per company policies. 4. HR Operations Maintain employee personal files and HR records. Generate HR reports, dashboards, and MIS. Process confirmations, transfers, promotions, resignations, and full & final settlements. Update HRMS and employee databases. 5. Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with labor laws and factory regulations. Coordinate compliance related to contract labor. Maintain statutory registers and records. Assist during statutory inspections and audits. 6. Payroll Coordination Verify attendance, overtime, shift allowance, and incentives. Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the payroll team. Resolve employee payroll-related queries. 7. Training & Development Coordinate technical, behavioral, and statutory training programs. Maintain training records and skill matrices. Track employee competency development. 8. Employee Engagement Organize employee welfare activities and cultural events. Conduct employee satisfaction surveys. Celebrate birthdays, festivals, and recognition programs. Promote company values and employee motivation . 9. Performance Management Coordinate probation and confirmation reviews. Support annual performance appraisal processes. Track KPIs and employee development plans. 10. General Administration Support Coordinate employee ID cards, uniforms, lockers, and PPE issuance. Support transport, canteen, and housekeeping coordination. Assist in audits and management reviews. Required Qualifications MBA/MSW/PGDM in Human Resources or Personnel Management Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred) Experience 57 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry. Experience handling shop floor employees and contract labor is preferred.
