Job OverviewThe Area Head for Affordable Home Loans will oversee and expand the Affordable Home Loan portfolio over assigned branches. This leadership position entails crafting strategies to boost business growth, managing branch operations with a focus on cost control and technology integration, and strengthening partnerships with local dealers to position the bank as a preferred lending partner. The role is pivotal in broadening branch reach, increasing product adoption, and maintaining excellent customer service. Key ResponsibilitiesFull profit and loss accountability for designated branches, including operational management across distribution, sales, service, and administration.Drive business outcomes by creating and executing customized regional plans to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets.Manage product mix and pricing to sustain profitability across assets and liabilities.Maintain governance standards, controls, and process efficiencies, overseeing documentation and operational procedures.Analyze market trends and competitor activity to support product innovation and improvements.Lead and develop a team of Relationship Managers to grow customer base and deepen relationships.Monitor loan portfolio quality, focusing on collections, recoveries, and delinquency reduction.Ensure alignment of pricing, procedures, and policies with corporate objectives and competitiveness.Collaborate with risk and credit units to enhance portfolio quality and mitigate risks.Meet critical performance indicators including productivity, financial results, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.Conduct regular field audits and customer verification to guarantee process adherence and operational integrity.Build strong relationships with individual and institutional clients to foster loyalty and sustained engagement.Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, and training initiatives for on-roll and off-roll staff to cultivate a capable and agile workforce.Implement new product or channel initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and customer experience.Additional ResponsibilitiesDevelop team's ability to cross-sell and upsell banking products across multiple branches.Share best practices and market intelligence across regions to maintain consistent excellence.Ensure strict compliance with ethical standards, regulations, and statutory requirements.Lead community development and livelihood programs to further the banks social responsibility efforts.Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance team productivity and service quality.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive banking solutions to customers.Qualifications and ExperienceApplicants must hold a graduate degree and have between 10 to 18 years of relevant work experience in financial services or banking operations. ResponsibilitiesOwn P&L and overall operations for assigned branches including sales, distribution, customer service, and administration.Devise and implement localized strategies to achieve and exceed business and revenue objectives.Balance product mix and pricing to maintain sustainable profitability.Ensure governance, process efficiency, and documentation accuracy across branches.Provide market and competitive insights to drive product innovation.Lead Relationship Manager team for customer acquisition and deepening relationships.Monitor and improve loan collection and recovery rates.Ensure alignment of pricing, process, and policies with business goals.Partner with Risk and Credit teams to assess and improve portfolio quality.Achieve key performance metrics including productivity and compliance.Conduct field audits and customer verifications to uphold integrity.Build and maintain strong client relationships to increase loyalty.Plan and manage manpower recruitment and training.Implement new initiatives to boost operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. RequirementsGraduate degree required.10 to 18 years of professional experience in banking or financial services, preferably in home loans or affordable housing finance. .
