Food Manufacturing Procurement Lead

We're Hiring: Purchase Manager (Food Manufacturing) Location: Noida (In-office) At The Cinnamon Kitchen, we're building one of India's fastest-growing premium bakery brands. We're looking for an experienced Purchase Manager who can lead procurement across ingredients, packaging, bakery machinery, and operational supplies while driving cost efficiencies and ensuring uninterrupted production. Role Overview This role is responsible for end-to-end procurement, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment required for our manufacturing operations. What you'll own - Manage end-to-end procurement of bakery ingredients, packaging materials, consumables, and operational supplies Source and procure bakery machinery, equipment, and spare partsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliersIdentify new vendors and negotiate the best commercial termsDrive cost optimization without compromising on quality or timelinesEnsure timely procurement to support production schedulesCoordinate with Production, QA, and Finance teams for smooth operationsEvaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, and service levelsMaintain purchase records, contracts, and procurement documentationTrack market trends and identify alternate sourcing opportunities What we're looking for - 5+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement within the Food Manufacturing or Bakery industryExperience in sourcing bakery ingredients, packaging materials, bakery machinery, and production equipmentStrong vendor development and supplier management experienceExcellent negotiation and commercial acumen with a proven track record of cost optimizationUnderstanding of inventory planning and procurement processesProficiency in Excel and ERP systems You'll do well if you - Build long-term vendor partnershipsHave strong commercial and negotiation skillsBalance quality, cost, and delivery timelines effectivelyTake ownership and work independentlyEnjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Why join us - Work directly with the foundersPlay a key role in scaling a fast-growing premium bakery brandHigh ownership and decision-making opportunitiesCollaborative and growth-oriented work environment Preferred Background Candidates from bakery, commercial bakery, food manufacturing, confectionery, or chocolate manufacturing will be preferred.
