WORKING HOURS : 7 AM TO 3 PM EST (US TIME) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in plastic compounding and rotational molding raw materials. The ideal candidate will have proven success in business development, account management, and technical sales within the plastics industry. This individual will be responsible for expanding market share, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving profitable sales growth across North America.Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify and pursue current business opportunities within the rotational molding, compounding, and plastics processing industries. Manage and grow existing customer accounts through exceptional service and technical support.Promote and sell compounded resins, recycled materials, and rotational molding raw materials. Provide technical guidance on resin selection, material performance, and processing applications. Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D; teams to develop customer-specific material solutions. Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales agreements. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies within the plastics industry. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and pipeline reports.Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). 510+ years of successful B2B sales experience in the plastics industry. Strong knowledge of: Plastic compounding Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), engineering resins, and recycled materialsRotational molding materials and applications Color matching Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to understand customer processing challenges and recommend material solutions. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.Preferred Experience selling: Rotomolding powders Custom compounds Sustainable and recycled resin solutions Established relationships with rotational molders, OEMs, distributors, and compounders. Knowledge of ASTM testing, resin specifications, and plastics processing methods.
