FIELD OPERATIONS HEAD (Kozhikode)

Key Responsibilities - Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned hostel - Ensure all properties are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency. - Hire, train, mentor, and supervise hostel staff, including Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Security teams. - Monitor staff performance and ensure adequate staffing levels across all properties. - Address resident inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. - Implement and enforce hostel rules, operational policies, and safety procedures. - Coordinate with maintenance teams and external vendors to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. - Ensure timely rent collection and follow up on outstanding payments. - Monitor occupancy levels and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and improve revenue. - Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality. - Maintain accurate records of resident occupancy, lease agreements, operational documentation, and compliance records. - Act as the primary liaison between hostel management, residents, educational institutions, and the company to ensure effective communication. Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in hostel, property management, or operations management. - Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and operational management software. - Ability to manage multiple properties and teams simultaneously. - Experience in hostel, PG, coliving, or hospitality operations will be an added advantage.
