Role Description The Agri Advisor (Field) is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, focused on supporting farmers and promoting Direct2Bazars agricultural solutions. The role involves visiting farms and rural communities, providing agronomy advice, and guiding farmers on best practices for crop planning, cultivation, pest management, and post-harvest handling. The Agri Advisor will help farmers use Direct2Bazars digital platform, explain pricing and market trends, and facilitate direct sales of farm produce to buyers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting field demonstrations, organizing farmer meetings, collecting feedback from the field, and coordinating with internal teams to improve services and product offerings. The Agri Advisor will also contribute to farmer onboarding, data collection, and awareness campaigns that strengthen the farm-to-market ecosystem. Qualifications - Solid knowledge of agronomy, crop management, soil health, and sustainable farming practices. - Experience in field extension work, farmer training, or advisory roles in agriculture or allied sectors. - Ability to communicate clearly with farmers and stakeholders in English and local/regional languages. - Comfort with using smartphones, basic digital tools, and agricultural apps for data entry and farmer support. - Understanding of agricultural markets, pricing, supply chains, and rural development challenges. - Willingness to travel regularly within assigned regions and work extensively on the field. - Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Management, or a related discipline is preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving attitude, and commitment to farmer-centric service. - Prior experience working with FPOs, cooperatives, or rural communities is an advantage. - Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. .
