Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role based in Kolkata. The technician will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing preventive maintenance checks, replacing faulty components, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The role involves reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics, handling basic plumbing and electrical connections related to HVAC equipment, and adhering to all relevant safety and environmental regulations. The technician will communicate clearly with clients, document work performed, and collaborate with other team members to complete jobs on schedule. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving HVAC system issues.Knowledge of plumbing as it relates to HVAC installations and maintenance.Experience with preventive maintenance practices for heating and air conditioning equipment.Understanding of electricity and safe handling of electrical connections in HVAC systems.Familiarity with EPA or equivalent environmental and safety guidelines for refrigerants and related materials.Relevant technical certification or diploma in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields is preferred.Ability to use HVAC tools, testing equipment, and follow safety protocols on job sites.Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work on-site in Kolkata and, when required, respond to service calls in varying conditions. .
