Job Requisition: Presales Lead SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing Role Title - Presales Lead SAP S/4HANA (Manufacturing) Practice - SAP Presales / Solution Consulting Location - Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Noida Experience: 15+ years in SAP consulting/delivery, including 5+ years in SAP presales or solution leadership Deal Scope: Large , multi-year SAP transformation deals (ECC to S/4HANA migration, greenfield/brownfield/Bluefield). Engagement: Full -time client-facing, pursuit-based role Key Responsibilities - Lead presales for large SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud deals (manufacturing-heavy accounts), owning the solution narrative from RFP/RFI response through final client presentation. Design and present ECC-to-S/4HANA migration approaches (brownfield, Bluefield, greenfield) tailored to client landscape and business drivers.Architect solutions spanning SAP PP/QM/PM, Asset Management (EAM), and MES/shop-floor integration (SAP ME, Digital Manufacturing Cloud, or third-party MES).Drive value engineering: build business cases, ROI models, and TCO comparisons that quantify benefits of S/4HANA transformation.Create and present multi-year digital transformation roadmaps aligned to client manufacturing and operations strategy.Lead and mentor cross-functional presales teams (functional consultants, solution architects, pricing/commercial) across large deal pursuits.Own and manage deal pursuits of significant size (typically $5M+ TCV), coordinating with sales, delivery, and partner (SAP) teams.Deliver executive-level demos, workshops, and design-thinking sessions to CXO and plant/operations stakeholders.Partner with SAP and hyperscaler alliance teams to align solution positioning and co-sell opportunities.Stay current on the SAP product roadmap (S/4HANA Cloud, BTP, AI/GenAI capabilities) and incorporate relevant innovations into presales strategy. Must-Have Skills - Strong SAP Manufacturing domain expertise (Discrete/Process/Repetitive manufacturing, PP, PP-PI, QM).Hands-on SAP S/4HANA knowledge (functional and/or technical) with proven presales or implementation exposure.SAP Asset Management / EAM (PM module) skills.MES integration experience SAP-MES interfaces, shop-floor connectivity, Industry 4.0/IIoT concepts.Demonstrated experience architecting or advising on ECC to S/4HANA migration approaches and tools (SUM/DMO, SAP Readiness Check, Fit-to-Standard).Strong value-selling / ROI and business case development skills.Roadmap creation and digital transformation strategy experience for manufacturing clients.Track record of leading presales for large, complex deals (multi-tower, multi-year) and managing pursuit teams.Excellent CXO-level communication, storytelling, and proposal/RFP writing skills.Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus). Good to Have - SAP certifications in S/4HANA Manufacturing, PM/EAM, or related modules.Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC), SAP Asset Intelligence Network (AIN), or SAP BTP/AI use cases.Prior experience with a Tier-1 SI, SAP itself, or a specialist SAP consulting firm.SAP AI skills Joule.Experience working on discrete manufacturing, automotive, industrial equipment, or process industry accounts.
