Role Description The Service Engineer-Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, networking equipment, and related systems at client locations. The trainee will support field service activities, respond to technical issues, perform basic diagnostics, and escalate complex problems to senior engineers as needed. Daily tasks include documenting service activities, adhering to safety and quality standards, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely resolution of customer queries. The position offers hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to enterprise IT environments. Qualifications Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues.Experience or interest in Field Service, including on-site visits, installation support, and customer-facing activities.Ability to perform Maintenance & Repair of IT equipment, with attention to detail and adherence to procedures.Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, documenting work, and collaborating with team members.Fundamental knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and operating systems.Bachelors or diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to customer satisfaction. .
