Role Description The Power BI Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur. In this position, the developer designs and builds interactive dashboards and reports that present complex data in a clear, intuitive format. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and optimizing data models, working with data warehousing structures, and developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare data for analysis. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, translating them into effective Power BI solutions, and performing data validation and performance tuning. The developer also contributes to documentation, supports end users with troubleshooting and enhancements, and helps maintain data governance and best practices. Qualifications Strong data modeling skills, including designing and optimizing relational and dimensional models for Power BI.Experience building and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports, with a focus on usability and performance.Solid analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and support business decision-making.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architectures, such as star schemas and fact/dimension tables.Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools for integrating data from multiple sources.Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query), SQL, and related business intelligence tools.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with cloud platforms (such as Azure) and familiarity with data security and governance practices are beneficial. .
