Backup Administrator Commvault Contract Delhi/Hyderabad Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain Commvault Backup & Recovery infrastructure. Design, implement, and manage backup and recovery solutions for Windows, Linux, VMware, databases, NAS, and cloud workloads. Monitor daily backup jobs, identify failures, perform root cause analysis, and ensure successful backup completion. Perform backup, restore, disaster recovery (DR), and recovery testing activities. Configure backup policies, schedules, retention policies, storage policies, media agents, and deduplication. Manage backup infrastructure including media servers, libraries, storage arrays, and disk/tape devices. Support backup replication, archiving, and long-term data retention requirements. Perform capacity planning and optimize backup performance and storage utilization. Implement security best practices including backup encryption, ransomware protection, and access controls. Coordinate with infrastructure, database, application, virtualization, and cloud teams during backup and recovery activities. Prepare backup health reports, compliance reports, and operational documentation. Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management activities following ITIL processes. Provide on-call support for critical backup and recovery incidents. .
