R&D Specialists - Coatings & Product Development Location: Pune Key Responsibilities Develop and formulate water-based and solvent-based coatings/paints as per customer requirements and market trends, while independently handling R&D projects. Work on coating formulations based on Acrylic, Epoxy, Polyurethane (PU), Vinyl and Phenolic chemistries. Drive new product development, product improvement and functional coating development, including raw material evaluation and cost optimization. Manage quality testing, specifications, SOPs and test methods for raw materials and finished coating products, including coating, flooring and composite testing. Provide technical support to Sales & Marketing, conduct customer demonstrations and application trials, and support customer approval/troubleshooting. Support scale-up from R&D to pilot and production, including alternate vendor development, cost-effective raw-material selection and production transfer. Experience: 8+ years in relevant Coatings/Paint/Polymer R&D. Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical / Paint Technology.
