Role & responsibilities Administer Oracle databases on Exadata (X8/X9/X10) environments Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching (GI, DB, Exadata stack) Monitor and tune database and Exadata performance (SQL, storage, I/O, Smart Scan) Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Manage RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate environments Implement and maintain backup & recovery using RMAN Handle capacity planning, space management, and performance forecasting Troubleshoot complex database and Exadata-related issues Ensure high availability, DR readiness, and SLA compliance Implement security best practices, auditing, and compliance controls Support application deployments and production releases Automate routine DBA tasks using Shell/Python/Ansible Coordinate with Oracle Support and infrastructure teams .
