Job Description: Job Title: Private Banker Department: Wealth Management / Retail Banking Location: [City, State] Reporting To: Regional Head Private Banking / Wealth Management Job Purpose To manage high-net-worth (HNW) clients, provide tailored financial advice, and offer investment solutions aligned with their financial goals. The role involves building strong client relationships, driving portfolio growth, and delivering a superior banking experience. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to HNW clients. Build and manage a portfolio of high-value clients. Understand client needs and provide customized financial solutions. Financial Planning & Investment Advisory: Recommend appropriate investment products like mutual funds, bonds, equities, PMS, AIFs, and insurance based on risk profiling. Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and rebalancing. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while advising. Business Development: Acquire new HNW clients through referrals, networking, and personal connections. Drive cross-sell opportunities in loans, deposits, and wealth products. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure complete documentation and adherence to KYC/AML norms. Monitor and mitigate portfolio risk. Customer Experience: Deliver a high standard of service. Proactively resolve customer issues and escalate as needed. Qualifications & Experience Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. AMFI/NISM certification preferred. 48 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or HNI relationship management. Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulations.
