Job Description Job Description - MBA with specialization in HR or Post Graduation in social Welfare with experience of 15 years Domain knowledge in both HR & ER including labour laws Key Result Areas/Accountabilities Supporting Actions Business Excellence - Ensuring implementation of short term and long term HR and ER policies in sync with strategic objectives of the Organisation with special focus on the imperatives of the Baphlimali bauxite minesLeading the change process with respect to HR/ ER interventions for a value driven culture, disciplined shop floor workingEnsuringachievement of monthly, quarterly and annual targets with respect to talent acquisition and retention towards supporting business growth and efficienciesEnsuringimplementations of SOPs related to people processes Cost - Ensuringcost saving in terms of talent acquisition and management through improvement of efficiencies of process across area of operation Cash - Ensuringimplementation of manpower plan and optimum deployment to improve profitability Customer Centricity - Ensuring implementation of employee engagement initiatives to boost employee engagementOverseeing implementation of stipulated lead time for suitable talent acquisition towards supporting operationsLeading negotiation with Trade Unions for long term settlements in line with business requirements and productivity expectationsMaintaining liaison with union leaders, representatives of the local community to minimize disruptionsOverseeing effective implementation of Resettlement & Rehabilitation activities to cover Project Affected People, if any, at the Baphlimali MinesEnsuring proper maintenance and upkeep of the Contract Labour Colony Sustainability and Compliance - Overseeing all statutory compliance within timelines particularly with respect to manpower deployment with focus on contractual manpower deploymentPartnering implementation of good housekeeping practices and green initiatives in areas under jurisdiction Safety - Ensuringimplementation of Health, Safety, Environment norms with focus safety related training and awareness sessions imparted through unit teams towards embeddingsafetyculture across mines under jurisdictionOverseeing emergency handling readiness across mines under jurisdiction People development and engagement - Ensuringthe following by the HR/ ER activities at the Baphlimali bauxite mines: 1. On-time acquisition of critical talent with respect to frontline categories of employees 2. Implementation of performance management process as per guidelines and timelines 3. Grievance resolution and employee wellbeing through engagement with all categories of employees towards maintenance of harmonious employee relations 4. Implementation ofemployee engagement initiatives, recognition schemes to improve employee connect - Ensuringintake and deployment of appropriate contractual workforce, their continuous training and wellbeing as per company guidelines and statutory normsEngaging with Unions and political leaders for quick resolution of employee issues, contract labour issues and harmonious employee relations and community connect .
