General Position Summary: Firm Information Technology Services Senior ServiceNow Developer & Platform Administrator The Senior ServiceNow Developer and Platform Administrator is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient solutions on the ServiceNow platform that align with organizational goals and IT service management best practices. This role requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB, along with strong integration capabilities using APIs and MID Servers. The developer/administrator collaborates closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into platform configurations and customizations, ensuring alignment with frameworks like ITIL and Agile. Additionally, they provide strategic guidance, enforce governance standards, and mentor development teams to maintain platform integrity and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Platform Management Work on maintenance and stability efforts of the ServiceNow Platform, ensuring high availability and performance Follow architectural standards, best practices, and governance models. Perform platform upgrades, migrations, and major enhancements. Align to out-of-the-box best practices, configurations aligned to vendor guidance, and roadmap technical debt opportunities. Solution Development & Integration. Translate business requirements into technical designs and workflows. Design scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and IT strategies. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment to production Development of customs applications, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow tools (e.g., Flow Designer, App Engine). Technical design and implementation of complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and external systems. Ensure performance optimization, data integrity, and maintainability across the platform. Oversee complex configurations, customizations, and integrations using APIs, MID Servers, and third-party tools. Innovation & Strategic Enablement Champion the use of ServiceNows Innovation Hub to explore emerging capabilities such as AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics. Identify opportunities to leverage new platform features to improve service delivery, user experience, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with business units to prototype and pilot innovative solutions that drive digital transformation. CMDB & ITOM Strategy Architect and maintain a robust CMDB structure, including CI class models and relationships. Support ITOM capabilities such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management. Process Alignment & Optimization. Align platform capabilities with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps frameworks. Collaborate with process owners to optimize workflows and service delivery. Security & Compliance Implement role-based access controls and ensure platform security. Support audit and compliance initiatives by maintaining documentation and controls. Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions.
