Role description Job Title Senior AWS DevOps Engineer (AWS & Kubernetes) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to build, manage, support, and continuously improve cloud platform capabilities. The role requires a hands-on technical leader with strong expertise in AWS DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, scripting, and team leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive automation, enhance platform reliability, implement operational best practices, and accelerate software delivery through continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud platform capabilities leveraging AWS DevOps best practices. - Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and effective software delivery. - Drive automation initiatives across infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes. - Lead and mentor team members, promoting DevOps culture, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. - Partner with development, operations, product owners, and scrum teams to improve platform maturity and operational excellence. - Implement and support containerized solutions using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. - Participate in platform backlog grooming, planning, prioritization, and execution of automation initiatives. - Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational tasks and streamline deployment workflows. - Establish and maintain common standards, practices, deployment paths, and platform capabilities across teams. - Support production environments and ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform vision with organizational infrastructure and cloud strategies. - Actively share knowledge through coaching, technical guidance, and collaborative problem-solving.
