The Role - As a Cloud Engineering Consultant, you will support KPMG with the delivery of immediate value and impact, to customers looking to embed new and emerging technologies in their landscape. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Consultant (48 years) with strong expertise in either in Python / ReactJS along with exposure on Microsoft Azure or in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The consultant will work on developing scalable software systems with cloud infrastructure, data services, DevOps, automation, and modern AI/GenAI solutions. It is an exciting time to join this team as we drive momentum and enhance our presence in cloud sector globally. Your key responsibilities will include - - Design, develop and manage full-stack development in Python / FastAPI / ReactJS / CSS / HTML etc. - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure / GCP) including compute, networking, storage, and IAM/security. - Design, implement and manage serverless application deployment using Cloud Run / Azure Container Service, Load Balancer, DNS, Cloud Function / Azure Function. - Implement and optimize DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE/AKS), and monitoring tools. - Develop automation scripts and serverless functions in Cloud Function / Azure Function using Python. - Collaborate with teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions. - Explore and support use cases for Generative AI (GenAI), AI/ML services, and Vertex AI / Azure OpenAI. Mandatory Skills - 48 years of experience in software development, cloud consulting or DevOps engineering. - Solid exposure on application modernization and application rationalization. - Strong exposure on full-stack development using one or more of following technologies Python / ReactJS / NodeJS / API Integration - Exposure on MS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Python scripting for automation and data workflows. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps. Preferred Skills: - Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI), Machine Learning pipelines, Vertex AI, or Azure OpenAI. - Certification in GenAI technology is a plus. - Familiarity with security best practices, cloud cost optimization, and monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Google Cloud Monitoring, Azure Monitor). The person - Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams and develop excellent client relationships - Previous experience in consulting and working on complex solutions to business executives - Track record in advisory of complex large-scale architectural solutions on cloud - prise-wide environment (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud) - Embraces a growth mindset for business development, with an ability to influence senior stakeholders - Excellent communication (written and oral) skills capable of discussing complex ideas with various groups, ranging from a board room to business unit leads. - Good team player with strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
