Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate the smooth onboarding and orientation of new employees, ensuring they have a clear understanding of company policies, procedures, and culture. Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development. Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting open communication between management and staff. Training and Development: Identify training needs, design training programs, and coordinate professional development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations. Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, promoting a culture of teamwork and high performance. HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor HR metrics, such as employee turnover, absenteeism, and performance indicators, and provide regular reports to management for decisionmaking purposes. Employee Health and Safety: Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, complying with health and safety regulations. Talent Management: Develop talent management strategies to identify high-potential employees and create succession plans for key roles within the organization. HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, handling payroll processing, and managing employee benefits enrolment. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity and fairness within the organization. Employee Exit Process: Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance the employee experience. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certifications are preferred. Experience: Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist in the civil and construction industries. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in India. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to guide and develop HR staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to address complex HR issues and implement appropriate solutions.
