Senior Manager / Manager - Laboratory Operations Location: Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai (Managed by Reliance Foundation Hospital) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Operations professional to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a multi-speciality hospital laboratory, ensuring operational excellence, quality compliance, patient satisfaction, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end laboratory operations across Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Histopathology, and other diagnostic services. Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, NABL/NABH guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Drive operational efficiency, turnaround time (TAT) compliance, and service excellence. Manage laboratory manpower, equipment, consumables, inventory, and vendor relationships. Monitor departmental performance through MIS, quality indicators, and operational dashboards. Collaborate with clinicians, nursing, infection control, and hospital operations teams. Lead quality improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives. Manage departmental budgets, productivity, and revenue performance. Candidate Profile Master's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field. MBA Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management preferred. 8-15 years of experience in hospital laboratory operations, including team leadership responsibilities. Experience in NABL-accredited laboratories and large multi-speciality hospitals preferred.
