Investment Banking Senior Lead, South India Market (Bengaluru)

Overview: A sector-agnostic Investment Banking Coverage role focused on developing and strengthening client relationships across industries within the assigned geography. The incumbent will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing a broad range of investment banking transactions while driving senior-level client engagement and business development. Eligibility: 1. Education - MBA from a premier institute/CA 2. Experience - 8+ Years 3. Role Vice President / Director / Executive Director 4. Location - Bangalore Key Responsibilities - Originate ECM, M&A;, and strategic advisory opportunities within the Southern part of India. - Build and deepen relationships with CXOs, promoters, and senior management teams across industries. - Sector agnostic - Drive business development initiatives and generate transactions. - Lead industry research, market mapping, and opportunity identification. - Prepare client presentations, transaction proposals, and mandate pitches. - Develop insights on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential deal opportunities. - Manage end-to-end life cycle of buy-side, sell-side, fundraising, and strategic advisory mandates along with Products team. - Serve as the primary relationship manager for key clients. - Advise clients on transaction strategy, valuation, structuring, and execution. - Negotiate pricing, deal structures, and transaction terms. - Lead and mentor junior team members. - Review financial models, valuation analyses, information memoranda, and presentations. - Coordinate with product specialists, sector teams, legal advisors, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth deal execution. This role is best suited for a senior investment banker with a solid blend of origination capability, transaction execution expertise, and CXO-level relationship management experience. .
