Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase / Procurement Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background, from in / around Bomassandra Area, to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our manufacturing operations. The role requires strong vendor management skills, cost optimization mindset, and hands-on experience in sourcing mechanical and industrial materials. Applicant must have 5-7 years of experience in handling the following key responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials, mechanical components, spares, consumables, and capital items. - Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. - Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs), RFQs, POs, and follow up until material receipt. - Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contracts with suppliers. - Coordinate closely with production, stores, maintenance, and finance teams. - Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. - Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock. - Track vendor performance and resolve quality or delivery-related issues. - Maintain accurate purchase records, documentation, and MIS reports. - Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
