NKA Planner Executive (Supply Chain)

Supply Planning Executive Department Supply Chain / Planning Job Purpose The Supply Planning Executive is responsible for ensuring optimal product availability for strategic key accounts through effective supply planning, inventory management, demand-supply balancing, and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on maintaining high service levels while optimizing inventory, production capacity, and logistics costs to support business growth. Key Responsibilities Supply Planning Develop and execute supply plans aligned with demand forecasts for key accounts and Business Unit Balance demand, production capacity, inventory, and distribution constraints. Monitor inventory health and ensure optimal stock levels across warehouses and distribution centres. Minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, and product obsolescence. Key Account Management Partner with Sales and Key Account teams to understand customer requirements, promotional plans, and service expectations. Ensure timely product availability for strategic customers. Manage replenishment plans for modern trade, organized retail, and large institutional customers. Maintain Fill rates > 95% Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Participate in the monthly S&OP cycle. Translate demand plans into executable supply plans. Identify supply risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Support scenario planning for demand fluctuations, new product launches, and promotional activities. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, Commercial, and Finance teams along with other Key suppliers of FG. Coordinate production schedules to meet customer service targets. Resolve supply constraints through proactive planning and communication. Inventory & Performance Management Track and improve inventory turnover and fill rates. Analyse inventory trends and recommend corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize working capital. Analytics & Reporting Monitor KPIs including: Customer Service Level (OTIF) Forecast Accuracy Inventory Days Stock Availability Line Fill Rate Supply Plan Adherence Production Plan Compliance Prepare management reports and business insights. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve planning processes through automation and data analytics. Support implementation of planning tools, ERP enhancements, and digital supply chain initiatives. Lead root cause analysis for supply disruptions and implement corrective actions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. MBA or postgraduate qualification is preferred. Experience 2-3 years of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain. Experience in FMCG or beverage industries is preferred. Exposure to managing modern trade or strategic key accounts is highly desirable. Experience working with ERP systems and planning tools.
