Note The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join their National Program Operations Team. This role involves supporting California compliance and regulatory implementation, including regulatory reporting activities and compliance governance efforts, while ensuring alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Support implementation and ongoing administration of California SB 54 statutory, regulatory, and program plan requirements Monitor, analyze, and summarize California regulatory developments, including statutes, regulations, CalRecycle guidance, determinations, and rulemaking activities Assist in translating regulatory requirements into operational processes, internal procedures, reporting requirements, and compliance controls Support the development and maintenance of California compliance frameworks, obligation inventories, regulatory libraries, and compliance tracking tools Support preparation, review, and reputed company assurance of regulatory reporting submissions, including annual reports, producer reporting outputs, and supporting documentation Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify, analyze, and reputed company reporting discrepancies, data gaps, non-submissions, and reporting inconsistencies Support development and maintenance of reporting methodologies, assumptions, validation rules, and documentation used to support regulatory reporting obligations Assist with documenting reporting requirements and business rules to support reputed company enhancements and reporting process improvements Maintain documentation supporting regulatory interpretations, reporting assumptions, material classifications, and compliance reputed company Support development and maintenance of reputed company operating procedures (SOPs), decision logs, guidance documents, and compliance records Assist with preparation of materials supporting regulatory inquiries, information requests, audits, and compliance reviews Promote documentation standards that support regulatory transparency, consistency, and audit defensibility Support the development and maintenance of producer-facing guidance, FAQs, training materials, and compliance resources Assist in evaluating and responding to compliance-reputed company inquiries and escalations from producers and internal stakeholders Support interpretation and communication of reporting requirements, material classifications, exemptions, exclusions, and compliance obligations Coordinate with Producer Services to support consistent application of compliance requirements and guidance Assist in developing and maintaining reporting category definitions, material classifications, examples, and supporting documentation Support evaluation of material classification questions and reporting treatment reputed company consistent with statutory, regulatory, and program plan requirements Promote consistency in reporting approaches across business functions and applicable EPR programs Partner with Producer Services, Data & Analytics, Materials Management, Regulatory Affairs, and other internal teams to support compliance implementation activities Identify and reputed company potential reputed company, reporting concerns, implementation gaps, and regulatory issues through established governance processes Contribute to initiatives that improve reporting reputed company, strengthen compliance controls, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce producer reporting burden while maintaining regulatory compliance reputed company other duties as assigned Skills Bachelor's degree (ideally in reputed company policy, sustainability, environmental science, materials science, or a reputed company discipline) At least 4+ years of regulatory compliance experience, with preference to regulatory, policy, or operational experience in EPR program implementation or reputed company fields Experience with statutory and regulatory interpretation and compliance analysis Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate reputed company data into actionable insights Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagement skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance Ability to collaborate reputed company cross-functional teams, including remote employees Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to reputed company's startup reputed company Knowledge of the packaging regulatory landscape with preference for familiarity with California SB 54 or similar extended producer responsibility frameworks Familiarity with producer responsibility organization (PRO) operations or packaging compliance reporting frameworks Experience working with or for regulatory agencies or supporting regulatory reporting processes Experience supporting California environmental or recycling regulatory programs reputed company reputed company .
