Project entitled -:Validation of Self-Reported Hysterectomy and Exploration of Its Causes and Consequences among Indian Women: A National Multi-Site Mixed Methods Study under the MRHRU Network funded by Department of Health Research. Project position -: Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) No. of vacancy-: 1 Consolidated Salary-: Rs.67,000/- + 30% HRA Essential Qualification-: Post Graduate Degree in Public Health / Epidemiology / Biostatistics from a recognized university with 3 years experience OR PhD. Desirable Qualification & Job Responsibilities-: Desirable Qualification: Additional two years Clinical and public health research experience with publications in national and international journals Experience of community-based research projects in tribal/rural area Knowledge of Computer Applications and data analysis Qualitative research experience Job Responsibilities: To provide assistance to the PI / Nodal Officer for implementation of the project To assist PI / Nodal Officer in preparation of ethics documents, reports and publications To coordinate with ICMR-NIRWoH, Department of Health Research, and MRHRU Network across India for administrative, scientific activities Data management and analysis Supervision of project staff Regular monitoring visits to study sites under MRHRU Vani Any other work as instructed by the PI / Nodal Officer Age Limit-: 40 Years Duration-: One year Selected candidates will be required to travel between ICMR-NIRWoH, Mumbai and Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU), Vani, District Nashik as per project requirements under the supervision of the PI / Nodal Officer. .
