Job Description Purchase Executive Position: Purchase Executive Department: Purchase / Supply Chain Location: Bengaluru Reports To: Purchase Manager / SCM Head Role Overview: The Purchase Executive Electronics will be responsible for sourcing, procurement, and vendor management of electronic components and electrical parts. The role requires technical understanding of electronic drawings, BOM handling, and coordination with design, stores, and production teams to ensure timely procurement. Key Responsibilities: Procure electronic components as per engineering requirements and BOM. Source components such as PCB, sensors, controllers, relays, PLC parts, connectors, cables, power supplies, ICs, and other electronic parts. Ability to read and understand electrical/electronics drawings and specifications. Identify and develop new vendors for electronic components. Obtain quotations, compare techno-commercial offers, and negotiate pricing. Raise purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery. Coordinate with design, production, and stores for material planning. Maintain vendor database and ensure quality compliance. Handle inventory planning to avoid shortages or excess stock. Ensure documentation and ERP/SAP updates related to procurement. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of electronic components and sourcing channels. Ability to read electrical schematics and electronic drawings. Vendor negotiation and supplier coordination skills. Understanding of BOM and procurement processes. Good communication and analytical skills. Qualification & Experience: B.E / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or Electronics Engineering. 24 years experience in electronics procurement or purchase role. Experience in machine manufacturing / automation / SPM industry preferred .
