Job Description The Compliance Assurance Specialist plays an important role in delivering effective, risk-based compliance assurance across the EMAP region. This role is suited to someone who can lead assigned assurance reviews independently, apply sound judgment in regulated environments, and work credibly with stakeholders on findings, risks, and remediation. You will be responsible for delivering compliance assurance reviews in line with the Global Compliance Management Programme and the annual EMAP Compliance Assurance Plan. You will assess risks and controls, carry out testing, report findings clearly, and support the business in driving actions through to resolution. What youll be doing in this role Deliver assurance reviews end to end Execute compliance assurance reviews in line with the annual EMAP Compliance Assurance Plan and agreed timelinesDefine testing approach and review activities for assigned engagementsConduct fieldwork, testing, and fact-finding activities with a high standard of accuracy and professionalismMaintain robust working papers and clear review documentation Assess findings and support remediation Analyse control effectiveness and identify areas of compliance riskPrepare clear, well-structured reports that set out findings, risks, conclusions, and required actionsWork with business owners and management to agree practical remediation plansTrack agreed actions through to closure and escalate high-risk issues where appropriate Support governance and stakeholder engagement Use Archer to maintain accurate records and track issues, deliverables, and review progressBuild a broad understanding of the business and the regulatory environment in which Experian operatesEngage confidently with stakeholders to support effective management of compliance riskSupport the business in strengthening controls and addressing issues identified through reviews Contribute insight from reviews Share review insights and recurring themes to support continuous improvement in assurance activityContribute to a consistent, high-quality approach to assurance delivery across the regionSupport the wider Compliance function in meeting its regulatory obligations with a high standard of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment What were looking for Experience and judgment Around 3 years of experience in monitoring, testing, assurance, or audit within regulatory complianceExperience working in a substantial regulated organisation, ideally in Financial ServicesStrong analytical capability and sound judgment when assessing complex issues, controls, and risksAbility to operate independently while knowing when to escalateTechnical and functional capability Good working knowledge of privacy and data protection regulation and its key principlesExperience delivering assurance or testing reviews and documenting findings clearlyStrong investigation, analysis, and report-writing skillsAttention to detail and the ability to manage work accurately and consistentlyStakeholder and communication strength Ability to communicate in a clear, structured, and credible wayConfidence working with business stakeholders to discuss findings, risks, and actionsAbility to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a regional teamStrong communication skills in English Desirable Professional audit qualification such as ACCA, CIA, or CISAQualifications Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline Interested candidates share your CV to daylene.dias@experian.com .
