Application Support Engineer (.NET | Angular | Azure | SQL Server) Job Title: Application Support Engineer Experience: 3 to 8 Years Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode : 1st Shift & 2nd Shift (No Night Shift) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in .NET/ASP.NET Core, Angular, Microsoft Azure, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in production support, incident management, troubleshooting application issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring operational stability of enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Monitor and support business-critical applications, ensuring issue resolution within defined SLAs. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to .NET APIs, Angular applications, and backend services. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions. Support and maintain Azure-hosted applications, including App Services, Azure SQL, and monitoring tools. Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. Assist with application deployments and release management through Azure DevOps. Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and enhancements. Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures. Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in .NET / ASP.NET Core application support and debugging. Good understanding of Angular applications, API integrations, and issue tracing. Experience with Microsoft Azure services, monitoring, and application support. Strong expertise in SQL Server, including query optimization and stored procedures. Experience in production support, incident management, and problem management. Knowledge of deployment and release processes using Azure DevOps. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience in support automation and monitoring tools. Understanding of ITIL processes and service management. Exposure to Agile development methodologies. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
