Role Description The Senior Sales Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. This role is responsible for driving sales of JK Cements products within the assigned territory, managing key channels and distributors, and meeting volume and revenue targets. Daily activities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, generating leads, conducting customer meetings, and providing product presentations and demonstrations. The Senior Sales Officer will oversee sales operations activities such as order processing, inventory coordination with dealers, and tracking collections to ensure timely payments. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, addressing service issues, gathering market and competitor intelligence, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for management. Qualifications Strong Sales Operations and Channel Sales skills, including experience managing distributors, retailers, and project accounts. Proficiency in Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to build long-term relationships and handle customer queries effectively. Demonstrated Lead Generation experience, including prospecting, opportunity qualification, and pipeline management. Proven track record in field sales, preferably in building materials, cement, or related industries. Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage. Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment and make data-informed decisions. Strong negotiation, presentation, and basic analytical skills, with familiarity in using CRM or sales reporting tools. Willingness to travel within the Kochi region and surrounding markets as required. .
