Role description Experience: 7+ Years Required Skills Robust experience in Java application development. Expertise in Spring Framework / Spring Boot and Maven. Strong understanding of Kafka and event-driven architecture. Experience designing and developing microservices-based applications. Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs. Good understanding of software design patterns, multithreading, and performance optimization. Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases. Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices, Git, and Agile methodologies. Good to Have Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Experience with monitoring and logging tools. Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging patterns. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and optimize microservices and event-driven solutions using Kafka. Create high-performance APIs and integration services. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements. Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
