Android HMI Architect - Automotive

Job Role: Android HMI Architect - Automotive Experience: 10+ Years Location: Chennai Key Responsibilities Define end-to-end software architecture for Automotive HMI and Infotainment platforms.Design scalable, modular, and high-performance HMI applications using Android, Qt/QML, and Kanzi.Lead software architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices.Collaborate with software developers, technical leads, QA teams, and program managers to deliver production-ready solutions.Create reusable frameworks, reference implementations, coding standards, and architecture guidelines.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements for future automotive programs.Mentor engineering teams through technical guidance, code reviews, and architecture governance. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development.Strong experience in Automotive HMI or Infotainment software development.Hands-on expertise with Android, AOSP, and Android Automotive OS (AAOS).Strong experience with Qt/QML and Kanzi HMI frameworks.Good understanding of Embedded Linux and QNX platforms.Strong programming skills in C/C++.Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and scalable application design.Experience working within Agile software development environments.Excellent communication, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills. .
