Job Description: The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Professional will work directly under the supervision and control of the Project Manager and Head of the E-Gov Department and will be solely responsible for ensuring overall process compliance, quality of the deliverables and implementation of required quality process. Qualifications Required: B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech/MCA - in IT/Computers Should have at least 3 years of post- qualification experienceShould be trained on Application development (SDLC lifecycle) and Software Quality AssuranceProfessional certifications like MCP, MCSD, MCSE, MCSE+I, MCDBA, OCDBA, etc. would be preferred.Should be proficient in .Net, VB, ASP, Javascript, HTML, DHTML, XML, AJAX, SQL serverShould have experience with CMM/CMMI processes Responsibilities:Shall ensure the quality and reviews of the deliverables.Shall develop and maintain the software quality assurance plan/processesShall review implementation and adherence to the required QA plan/processesShall be responsible for implementing process improvement initiatives.Shall review the relevant documents (SDD and User Manuals).Shall review various project metrics collected by Systems Analysts and teams.Shall coordinate with relevant tracks during the preparation and execution of System Testing Specifications.Shall coordinate for User Acceptance Testing with the Department.Shall be the overall in-charge of the Version Control and Configuration Management.Shall keep track of all defects identified during System Testing, UAT and mock testing to ensure closure.Shall coordinate with Systems Analyst and team in the resolution of any non- compliances, issues and/or risks identified as a result of software quality activitiesIdentify lessons learned that could improve processes for future products .
