Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes engineer with deep expertise and hands-on experience to join our growing team. We are not just looking for someone who can use Kuberneteswe need someone who truly understands how it works at a fundamental level. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Kubernetes infrastructure that powers our IT platform. You will work with a talented team of engineers to ensure that our container orchestration systems are scalable, secure, and highly available. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage production-quality Kubernetes clusters Develop and maintain container orchestration solutions and CI/CD pipelines Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for Kubernetes environments Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in infrastructure applications Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance Implement best practices for security in container and cluster management Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management Participate in on-call rotation for production support Work directly with clients to resolve technical issues Document architecture, procedures, and best practices Stay updated with Kubernetes ecosystem developments and emerging technologies Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals and architecture Experience with Cluster API Strong understanding of container technologies Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) Experience in Linux system administration and other related concepts Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) Strong scripting skills (Python or Go) Understanding of security principles and compliance requirements Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Experience with OpenStack and IT infrastructure Contributions to open-source projects Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid IT environments Familiarity with Ceph storage solutions What We Offer Remote work environment Opportunities for professional development and conference participation Access to cutting-edge technologies and infrastructure Collaborative and inclusive team culture Chance to work with open-source technologies Part of the foundation of a growing company Apply To this Job Company : VEXXHOST Salary : Full-time .
