Manage Production/Development databases in areas like Capacity Planning, Performance Monitoring & Tuning, Strategies Defined for Backup/Recovery Techniques, Space/ User/ Security Management Along with Problem Determination and Resolution. Ability to write T-SQL & PL/pgSQLand exposure to query tuning. Should have good understanding of data archive/restore policies. Good Inter-personal and communication skills. Knowledge of Server installation, operations, maintenance, and upgrading procedures. Hands On experience in using third party tools to monitor PostgreSQL server performance. Hands On experience in configuring and maintenance of HADR solutions like logshipping, replication, AlwaysOn. Ability to write PowerShell scripting is a plus. Some NoSQL experience is a plus. Dba task automation and related scripting (e.g., shell scripting, Powershell) AWS experience. Experience using agile project management and related tools (e.g., Jira). Willingness to learn new tools. Should have AWS RDS experience, understand performance optimization, ensuring system stability, clearing blocking sessions, monitoring and ability to generate alerts, etc .
