Job Title: QE Automation Engineer Experience: 4-10 Years Location: Chennai / Bangalore Job Summary We are seeking a skilled QE Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation for Banking and Financial Services applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), and Maven, along with exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO) and CI/CD practices. Experience in the Cards, Wallets, and Payments domain is essential. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts and frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD), and Maven. - Execute automated test suites to ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of applications across multiple releases. - Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks by implementing improvements and optimizing performance. - Collaborate with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. - Participate in test planning, test design, and contribute to automation strategy and test coverage. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. - Prepare and maintain automation test documentation, reports, and execution metrics. - Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation processes, framework efficiency, and testing quality. Required Skills - 4-10 years of experience in Software Test Automation. - Robust experience in the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) domain, specifically Cards, Wallets, and Payments. - Hands-on expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber (BDD), and Maven. - Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management, build pipelines, and defect tracking. - Strong understanding of automation framework design, development, and maintenance. - Experience in test scripting, execution, reporting, and defect management. - Good understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Good to Have - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured. - Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines. - Knowledge of SQL and database validation. - Prior experience with banking or financial services applications will be an added advantage. .
