Role Description The Cable Technician role at HireHut Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Cable Technician will install, terminate, and maintain various types of cables in residential, commercial, and industrial environments, following safety and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include performing structured cabling tasks, routing and securing cables, using hand tools for installation and repair, and testing cable performance to ensure optimal connectivity. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical and cabling issues, reading and interpreting technical diagrams, and coordinating with supervisors or project managers to complete assignments within deadlines. The Cable Technician is expected to document work performed, maintain equipment in good condition, and uphold company policies and safety procedures at all times. Qualifications Strong practical knowledge of cables and cabling techniques, including installation, routing, and termination.Hands-on experience with structured cabling systems and related infrastructure in commercial or industrial settings.Basic understanding of electricity and electrical safety standards relevant to cabling work.Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment required for cable installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.Good physical stamina and capability to work in varied on-site conditions, including heights and confined spaces.Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.Relevant vocational training, certification, or diploma in electrical, electronics, or related field is preferred.Previous experience as a cable technician, electrician, or field technician in a similar environment is an advantage. .
