Overview Storage Engineer III with minimum experience of 8 years, he/she will be responsible for the 24/7 support, installation, and maintenance of all storage and components within RealPage global datacenters. They will assist product support teams with technical questions, application troubleshooting, or other systems problems. The engineer will manage and support Engineering labs and data centers. An ideal candidate will be well organized and detail oriented, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and have excellent communication skills. The role also entails strong execution and focus to meet the needs of Realpages internal and external customers. Responsibilities Deliver technology solutions focusedaroundthe entire life-cycle of data in a high growth, highly technical environment. Provides functional and technicalexpertisewith managing, implementing, and designing data & storage environments. Execute solutions for environments such as highly active databases, email servers, multimedia access, development, and highlyavailable ordisaster recovery environments. Ensures that all capabilities delivered align with original businessobjectives, businessprocess, development framework, service levels, and design intent. Responsible for driving anddelivering onstrategic planning, design, and support of global storage infrastructure, data center and cloud solutions. Ability to drive output in a highly collaborative environment with the ability to organize and coordinate teams towards a common goal. Provides technical system troubleshooting; Oversight and accountability for resolution of outages, service level issues, and user/customer support needs in coordination with Operations Support Center. Ensures technical documentation is kept up to date (architecture / integration diagrams and documentation). Create andmaintainpolicies and procedures for storage technologies. Integrate storage platforms with AI-enabled monitoring tools & Capacity planning Deploy and manage Rancher-based Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads Qualifications Experience building scalable,highly available, mission critical storage infrastructures. Experience should include designing, implementing, and managinghigh performanceblock (SAN) and file (NAS) storage. Expertiseon EMC Powermax, Unisphere, powerstore and symcli required. Expertise on SRDF concepts and Symmrecovery.Working knowledgeof enterpriselevel Brocade DCX required. Storage and Fabric upgrades. Expertiseof NAS storage systems (Isilon) required.Skilled at performance analysis, Capacity planning.Troubleshooting performance issues, fabric issues. Handoff experience of planning & performing Storage migrations. Co-ordinating with Vendor for Hardware issues and regular health checks of the environment.Knowledge of backup/VMware technologies.Knowledge on Cloud & Automation. Experience with Disaster Recovery Flexible to work overtime asrequired; some overnight work may berequired. Able to sit or stand for frequent periods in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Able to stoop or lift material or equipment up to 50 pounds. .
