Position: Visual Designer, UX (Multiple Roles) Location: India (Ahmedabad / Pune / Mumbai / Remote options available). Candidates willing to relocate to Ahmedabad preferred. Youll craft polished, production-ready interfaces that balance aesthetics with functionality, especially for data-rich or AI-powered products. Asites Product Design team sits at the heart of our platform, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and sales to deliver powerful solutions that are easy to use, whether you're in the office or on the jobsite. From streamlining document management to visualising project data, we create tools that support the people who keep the world building. As a Visual Designer at Asite, youll craft cohesive, elegant experiences across web and mobile platforms, working from concept through execution. Youll lean on user-centered design principles to meet the needs of a diverse user base including project managers, contractors, site inspectors, and engineers. You will be designing solutions that are both beautiful and functional in high-impact, real-world scenarios. Responsibilities - Elevate the visual quality of Asites platform by refining layouts, typography, spacing, iconography, and component styling across web and mobile experiences. - Collaborate closely with UX Designers within each product teams to bring wireframes and user flows to life through visually compelling, accessible, and consistent UI designs. - Maintain and enhance Asites design system by ensuring visual consistency, scalability, and alignment with both brand and product objectives. - Partner with Product Designers, Engineers, and Researchers to ensure UI implementations faithfully reflect design intent across different devices and contexts (e.g., desktops in offices and tablets on construction sites). - Conduct UI audits and suggest improvements that enhance clarity, usability, and visual hierarchy, especially for construction-specific workflows (e.g., CDEs, RFIs, inspections, schedules, submittals). - Contribute to cross-functional design critiques, bringing a sharp eye for visual polish and design balance, while offering constructive feedback to improve product cohesion. - Support accessibility best practices, ensuring visual elements meet WCAG standards without compromising aesthetic quality. - Explore and propose innovative visual patterns and interface concepts that support Asites goals of clarity and simplicity in high-pressure environments. - Create high-fidelity mock-ups, interaction specs, and UI prototypes to communicate design direction with clarity and precision. - Have a proactive role in continually improving the process. Desired Skills & Experience: - 3+ years of experience in visual or UI design for web and mobile applications, ideally within B2B SaaS products. - Strong portfolio demonstrating polished, production-ready visual design work including layout, typography, iconography, and component styling, ideally for complex or data-rich interfaces. - Expertise in Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD, with hands-on experience in design systems, shared libraries, and component-based workflows. - Experience applying and evolving design systems to support visual consistency across large-scale platforms. - Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, spacing, grids, and responsive design principles for both desktop and mobile interfaces. - Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and how to design inclusive, legible, and user-friendly interfaces in low-connectivity or on-site environments. - Comfortable collaborating with UX Researchers, Product designers, Engineers, and Product Managers to refine interface aesthetics and translate wireframes into high-fidelity visuals. - Eager to experiment with emerging tools and design approaches, particularly in the context of AI-powered products and interfaces. - An AI-first product mindset, with a curiosity for designing intuitive visual experiences that integrate intelligent, context-aware functionality. - Appreciation for the practical challenges of designing for construction or field-based users, including mobile-first and offline-first considerations. - Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML/CSS/React) to ensure smooth design-to-development handoff, ability to code is not required but able to collaborate effectively with engineers. - Excellent .
