Key Responsibilities Supervise daily IT operations Head the day-to-day functionality of the IT department Establish IT policies Develop and implement organizational IT standards and procedures Oversee IT staff Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team Coordinate with stakeholders Collaborate to identify and execute technology initiatives Manage system updates Oversee hardware maintenance and ERP, software implementations Oversee on-prem IT infrastructure: servers, networks, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, access controls Enhance cybersecurity Conduct audits and implement measures to mitigate risks Improve workflows Leverage automation and innovation to boost operational efficiency Monitor budgets Manage IT resources and allocate them effectively Lead disaster recovery Plan and execute strategies to protect against data loss Manage engineering/design software (AutoCAD, ePlan, ETAP) and their licensing Support integration between ERP, engineering tools, and shop-floor systems Manage and maintain ERP / CPQ / Scheduling systems tailored for manufacturing (Oracle, IFS , Epicor, Asprova etc) Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement,Production QA/QC, and Finance to support system workflows Ensure smooth functioning of barcode/QR-based inventory systems used in switchgear stores Implement ITIL-based service management for efficient ticketing and issue resolution Oversee on-prem IT infrastructure: servers, networks, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, access controls Maintain CCTV, biometric attendance, time-tracking, and access control systems Ensure compliance with GCC standards, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and client audit requirements Strong experience in manufacturing IT, preferably in electrical OR Electronics or industrial automation industry Manage contracts with IT vendors, ERP consultants, network partners, cybersecurity firms, and hardware suppliers Proficiency in ERP systems with manufacturing modules (BOM, Routing, Planning, Inventory, QA, HR & Finance) Prefered certifications: ITIL, PMP, Oracle Certified Professional, CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure/AWS, MCSE, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Microsoft 365 Administrator / Enterprise Administrator KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) ERP uptime and usage efficiency across departments IT infrastructure uptime (factory + office) Cybersecurity incident prevention and audit scores Successful completion of IT projects (ERP upgrades, network revamps, etc ) Helpdesk resolution time and end-user satisfaction Cost optimization through improved IT efficiency .
