We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server , SSIS , and Azure cloud services . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases while supporting data integration and cloud-based deployments. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments (On-Premises and Azure). Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries, indexes, and execution plans. Design, develop, deploy, and support SSIS packages for ETL and data integration. Implement and manage backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions (Always On, Failover Clustering, Azure SQL HA/DR). Manage Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance , and SQL Server on Azure VMs. Ensure database security, including user access, roles, encryption, and compliance. Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations (On-Prem to Azure / Azure to Azure). Automate routine DBA tasks using T-SQL, PowerShell, or Azure Automation. Collaborate with developers, BI teams, and infrastructure teams to support application and reporting needs. Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA (SQL Server 2016+). Hands-on expertise with SSIS for ETL development and maintenance. Solid experience with Azure SQL services (Azure SQL DB, Managed Instance, Azure VM). Proficiency in T-SQL , performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Experience with backup/restore, HA/DR, and security best practices . Knowledge of monitoring tools (SQL Profiler, Extended Events, Azure Monitor). Understanding of data integration and reporting support environments. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Azure Data Factory , Knowledge of Power BI or reporting systems. Exposure to DevOps practices and automation. Microsoft Azure or SQL Server certifications. Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. .
