Job Description: - Manage and support IBM Netezza / Netezza Performance Server (NPS) environments. - Perform database backup, restore, refresh, migration, and data patch activities. - Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with SLAs. - Monitor database health, appliance status, storage utilization, and system performance. - Troubleshoot performance issues, slow-running queries, locking issues, and appliance-related problems. - Perform routine maintenance activities such as Groom, Generate Statistics, Vacuum, and capacity planning. - Manage user accounts, privileges, groups, password resets, and access requests. - Coordinate with IBM support/vendor teams for appliance, hardware, and software issues. - Execute database deployments, migrations, and setting refresh activities. - Participate in 24x7 support and on-call rotations. .
