SME -P&C commercial insurance (Pune)

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Commercial insurance underwriting expert with strong hands-on expertise in Commercial Property underwriting. The candidate must have in depth knowledge of underwriting processes and workflows. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role. Expectation is to have some prior IT experience in gathering business requirements and translating business needs into requirements. Key Responsibilities - Act as a key SME for internal and external clients from a commercial insurance underwriting point of view - Lead and support envisioning and implementations of underwriting systems - Translate underwriting requirements into design solutions - Collaborate with onshore/offshore development, QA, and integration teams throughout the delivery lifecycle - Participate in client workshops, design sessions, walkthroughs, and solution reviews - Prepare functional specifications, business process flows, and solution documentation Required Skills & Experience - Robust hands-on experience with commercial property underwriting - Solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C;) commercial insurance concepts and workflows - Proven experience in requirements gathering and client-facing consulting roles - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment .
