We are looking for an exceptional and passionate Java Big Data Developer - Senior to join our Development Team in Pune Location. You will have an opportunity to participate in developing state-of-the-art security technologies, including AI-assisted engineering, and benefit from high-level involvement in major projects that will significantly contribute to making our world safer and more secure. As a Cognyter, you will:Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality BigData systems and services.Take ownership of features and components aligned with your experience level.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secured solutions.Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, code review assistants, automation tools) to improve productivity and code quality.Continuously improve engineering processes, system design, and code quality.Solve complex technical challenges and deepen domain expertise.Drive business impact through innovation, efficient delivery, and technical excellence.RequirementsKey Skills and RequirementsBSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.6-9 years of experience in java development.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, system design, and design patterns.2-3 years of experience in building and maintaining scalable, distributed systems or microservices architectures.Proficiency in the Big Data ecosystem, with hands-on experience in Spark, Hadoop, and related technologies.Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka).Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and problem-solving.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Fast learner, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving tech environment. .
