About The RoleTNQTech is looking for a software engineer who is a Java specialist to join our growing team of people working to redefine content and technology in the scholarly publishing landscape. As a software engineer, you will develop code and monitor the performance of various applications. ResponsibilitiesDevelop code according to project requirementsRaise queries and seek their resolution from various stakeholdersSeek feedback from peers and senior developersEnsure that applications are performing at their bestThe ideal candidateA graduate with any degree, with 2-4 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologiesA programmer with a strong understanding of OOPs conceptsSomeone who has 1) hands-on experience in MVC frameworks such as Spring and Struts (a minimum of one framework experience is mandatory), 2) experience with Eclipse or NetBeans, 3) a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and 4) experience in any database, any one of the SCM tools, and automated unit testingBonus: a candidate with knowledge and understanding of multiple data structures and algorithms, and knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate) .

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
