Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Azure Fabric Lead to manage and support high-volume, mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee the design, development, and operational support of large-scale data platforms. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and support of large-scale data platforms using Azure technologies. - Develop, optimize, and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines. - Assess existing applications for architectural enhancements. - Recommend best practices for cloud-native data architecture. - Conduct solution design reviews and collaborate with architects. - Manage mission-critical applications ensuring uninterrupted operations. - Lead triage calls with stakeholders to facilitate incident response. - Utilize knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments. - Manage data virtualization platforms for improved data accessibility. - Maintain operational governance and promote continuous improvement. - Lead and mentor data engineering/operations teams. - Work in rotational shifts to support 24/7 operational needs. Requirements: - Minimum 8 years of experience with Azure technologies and data solutions. - 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles. - Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, and SQL/Synapse data warehouse. - Desirable skills include experience with data virtualization platforms like Denodo. - Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Solutions Architect are a plus. - Strong understanding of container platforms like Docker/Kubernetes. - Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to manage customer expectations and handle escalations. - Good understanding of ITIL processes. .
